Helping students identify as a writer is essential for building lifelong writers. When students purposefully publish their writing to a peer audience on Write About, they become an Author.
Use Author Pages and your Class Page to grow autonomy and ownership as you celebrate your Community of Writers!
AUTHOR PAGE OVERVIEW
Every student and teacher has an Author Page. It's a feed of the writing pieces from the author that have been published publicly to the Write About Community.

CLASS PAGE OVERVIEW
Every teacher has a Class Page. It's a feed of the writing pieces from all students associated with that teacher that have been published publicly to the Write About Community.

FIND YOUR AUTHOR AND CLASS PAGES
Students and teachers have quick access to their pages from the account dropdown menu:

FOLLOW AUTHORS AND CLASSES
Select FOLLOW anytime you see a Student or Teacher Author whose public writing you'd like to show up in your FOLLOWING feed.
When teachers use the FOLLOW CLASS button from another class, your students will see public writing from all students in that class in their FOLLOWING feed.
FIND OTHER CLASSES TO CONNECT WITH
Discover active classrooms who are sharing their writing publicly on the Classrooms Who Write directory.
- Follow them so your students can read and comment on their Posts from their FOLLOWING area.
SCHOOL PAGE
Classrooms that are connected to the School platform will automatically contribute to the collective School Page when they publish to their Class Page!
- A School page can be shared with families and linked from a school website to have a constantly updated page of student writing available to celebrate!
- Student voice around schoolwide events, themes, discussions and challenges can be showcased with contributions from every class.
